Ministries
Potter's Club Sunday School (Every Sunday) from 10:30 am
To teach the children and young people and all who wants to follow a systematic study of the Word of God with practical application. Classes are designed according to the age and the level of understanding of each student. Teachers are spiritually and otherwise qualified and committed to build up the future generation in the knowledge and influence of the Word of God. Christ -like character building and spiritual growth is expected through this ministry.
Youth Meetings: (1st &3rd Fridays at 8.00 p.m.)
The Youth of the church are divided in to two sections: They are the Under 17’s and the 18 Plus. Talented Youth Leaders are selected and appointed and supervised by the Leadership of the SCOG to guide and support both groups. Relevant teaching materials and discussion topics are introduced to the groups periodically. The Youth are actively engaged in the life and services of the church regularly. Young people are mentored and matured in Christian life and service.
Ladies’ Ministries: (Wednesdays at 11.00 a.m.)
The Ladies of the church meet on Wednesdays to worship, learn and discuss from the Bible, for intercession and prayer, counselling and mutual encouragement and fellowship. The service is held in English with translation into Punjabi, Urdu or Hindi. Many are blessed and empowered by this ministry of our sisters in Christ.
Link Prayer: (Thursday evenings 8:00pm - 8:30pm)
Committed brothers and sisters are linked up to pray fervently for specific needs and issues for God's intervention. This is done in their own homes.
Evangelism (Life style and Organised)
Our church is renowned for its spirit of evangelism and outreach. The Southall Church of God has been a mother church to several congregations in the Church of God in UK. This is the result of the labour of love by our enthusiastic team of evangelists. We teach and practice life style and organised evangelism.
Operation Kindness (Every Sunday and at other times)
The church has developed this great work of extending a helping hand to the needy and under privileged in the church and community. New comers and visitors and people of all faiths and non faiths are considered to be people who deserve attention and compassion from the Body of Christ. We have a strong and committed team to serve people with the love and kindness of Christ. This ministry is aimed to build the trust and confidence of the non believers and strengthen the fellowship of the believers.
Seasons of Prayer (in September – October)
We believe prayer is the key for the growth and health of the church. We have seasons of prayer : fasting and prayer; Intercessory prayer; Chain prayer; Half Night and Late Night of Prayer and days of prayer to celebrate our Church Anniversary. Prayers are lead by brothers and sisters, lay leaders, deacons and pastors of the church.
Discipleship studies/ Power Group (Every 2nd & 4th Fridays 7:30pm)
Training believers to serve God with their gifts. We meet for teaching and training sessions.
Practical discipleship courses are taught to nurture the new believers.

The Church is Christ’s agent on earth, which is called and commissioned to announce the Good News of salvation, hope and healing to all people. (Isaiah 61:1)
“VOICE OF HOPE” is a channel by which the Southall Church of God reaches out to the wider communities, nations and people far a field, through the preaching, teaching and healing ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.
The ministry seeks to enlist partners to:
- Pray - Praying for Divine Direction and fruitfulness
- Promote - Promoting the purpose and program widely
- Participate -Participating where practical
- Pledge -Pledging to donate finances and resources
Cottage Meetings: As members, worshippers and friends request the church conducts meetings in homes for the ministry of the Word, fellowship and teaching. Many find it comfortable to invite their friends and family to their homes to introduce Christ and instruct the way of salvation and spiritual blessings.
Pastoral Counselling: The church offers free and confidential Christian counselling and spiritual guidance and support to those in need. The basis of our counselling is purely on the principles of the Bible—God’s instruction manual for man.
Intercessory Prayer: A group of committed prayer warriors meet on Tuesday evenings(from 8:00pm) to pray specifically for the needs and requests of people. All are welcome to join in this prayer.
Retreats & Outings: The church organises retreats for leaders and members for teaching, reflection and spiritual empowerment. Also church outings are organised periodically for the families and friends (Sea side trips, Trips to Theme parks and land marks etc.)
Malayalam Fellowship: (Saturday evenings at 7.00 p.m). This is a service for all Malayalam speaking members and visitors/well wishers to worship, hear the Word and share the Lord’s Supper in their own language.
