SMOKING!!! Is it a sin? Can I as Christian smoke cigars, grass etc?
How do you know what is sin? Sin is trespassing, stepping over the boundary, rebellion, disobedience, violation of your conscience, that which is not wholesome, it is missing the mark (not reaching and living up to the standard of God.)
The Bible says that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). He who practices sin is a sinner and sin will be punished by a holy and righteous God.
Smoking cigars and the like is not a good thing at all. Can you imagine Jesus our Lord enjoying a fag? I doubt the apostles and the disciples of Jesus Christ had anything to do with such habits.
Even the promoters of the cigar brands/ companies warn that “SMOKING IS INJURIOUS TO HEALTH”. Smoking and drinking has serious physical and emotional consequences. I am sure you are aware that cancer of the lungs is the direct result of chain smoking. Even the passive smokers are seriously affected. Smoking contaminates, and destroys the body, soul and mind.
Please stay away from smokers and smoking!! It does not please God. As a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, you are expected to keep your body, soul and spirit clean and unspotted.
Keep your mouth, lips, lungs and all internal organs smoke-free.
